 কিছুদিন আগে সংবাদপত্রে ছোটো একটা খবর হয়তো অনেকে লক্ষ্য করেছিলেন। আমাদের দেশের এক শহরে সাধারণ লোকের সততা পরীক্ষা করার জন্য এক জায়গায় কতকগুলি সংবাদপত্র বিক্রির জন্য রেখে দেওয়া হয়। দাম নেবার জন্য সেখানে কেউ ছিল না, ছিল শুধু একটি ছোটো বাক্স। কাগজগুলো ফুরিয়ে গেলেই দেখা গেল যে, সব কাগজের দামও পুরোপুরি সে বাক্সের মধ্যে রয়েছে। আমাদের স্বদেশবাসী সাধারণ লোকের সততার পরিচয়ে সেদিন আমাদের বাস্তবিক গর্ববোধ হয়েছিল।
