৫) কাহারও কোন দ্রব্য হারাইলে সকলেই ভুবনকে চোর বলিয়া সন্দেহ করিত।

If anyone lost anything, everyone suspected Bhuban as the thief.


৬) যদি ভুবন অন্য লোকের বাড়ী যাইত, পাছে সে চুরি করে এই ভয়ে তাহারা অতিশয় সতর্ক হইত,

If Bhuban went to another person’s house, they became very careful for fear that he might steal.


৭) এবং যথোচিত তিরস্কার ও প্রহার পর্যন্ত করিয়া তাহাকে তাড়াইয়া দিত।

They even scolded and beat him and drove him away.
