 নিত্য একই বাঁধা পথে চলিতে চলিতে একদিন রেলগাড়ির ভারী বিরক্তি আসিল। সে চিৎকার করিয়া ড্রাইভারকে বলিল, "মহাশয়, আমার শরীরে যে কত শক্তি তাহা আপনার অজানা নাই। আমার ইচ্ছা যখন যেদিকে খুশি চলিয়া পৃথিবীটাকে দেখি, কিন্তু আপনি এমনই নিষ্ঠুর যে আমাকে একদিনের জন্যও স্বাধীনতা দিলেন না"।
