 বেলুড় মঠে অনুরূপ আর একটি ঘটনা ঘটেছিল। শ্রীযুক্ত বাবুরাম মহারাজ মঠের কাজকর্ম তত্ত্বাবধান করেন। রান্নার জন্য মঠে তখন ব্রাহ্মণ পাচক ছিল। তরুণ ব্রহ্মচারীদের কেউ কেউ সেই ব্রাহ্মাণ পাচকদের "তুই", "তোর” ভাষায়? একটু তাচ্ছিল্য প্রকাশ করে কথাবার্তা বলতেন। বাবুরাম মহারাজ এটি লক্ষ করেছিলেন। ব্রহ্মহ্মচারীদের উদ্দেশ্য করে একদিন তিনি বললেন, "দেখো এরা গরিবলোক, তাই এদের দুটো টাকা (অর্থাৎ বেতনস্বরূপ কিছু অর্থ) নিতে হয় এই যা বিশেষ'। নতুবা তোমরা ঠাকুরের সেবার জন্য যা করছ, এরাও তো তা-ই করছে, এদের এমনভাবে তুচ্ছ-তাচ্ছিল্য করা কী ঠিক?" তাঁর কথায় সকলের চমক ভাঙল, সকলের দৃষ্টি ও ব্যবহার সেই থেকে পরিবর্তিত হল।
